My first and only knowledge prior to this class about Wikis was Wikipedia. I never really trusted Wikipedia because I knew any and everybody could edit the information on the site. After researching and reading a couple of articles Wikis can do more to help education and educators then harm. With sites like Jotspot.com that allows members of a group to update info without anyone else editing it. This type of Wiki is great for education it will provide the world and field with solid information that can not be tampered with.
